Recipient Transplant Co-ordinators
Welcome to the Recipient Transplant Co-ordinator (RTC) hub page. This page contains information and resources to aid RTCs in their role.
These are monthly meetings for each organ group between Hub Operations managers, the Lead RTC for NHSBT, SNOD managers and RTC representatives from each centre.
They provide an opportunity for RTCs to feedback any operational concerns or issues they may have as well as receiving the latest updates from Hub operations.
Click on an organ group to access meeting minutes.
The Advisory Groups are the key fora for clinicians and scientists to meet with representatives from NHSBT, commissioners and Departments of Health and others to review and develop policies, assess outcomes, and work with partners and stakeholders to improve outcomes for patients.
Each Solid Organ Advisory Group has 2 RTC representatives:

Recipient Co-ordinator and Living Donor Co-ordinator induction programmes
The Recipient Co-ordinator and Living Donor Co-ordinator Induction Programme is held annually and offered to Co-ordinators new in post to provide a theoretical knowledge base regarding the deceased and living organ donation, and transplantation pathways.
You can find papers from these inductions on our UK Living Kidney Donation Network page.
