Our specialist nurses have been equipped with a new donor referral and assessment module in DonorPath.

We have ambitious plans to digitise as many existing paper forms as we can, starting with the HTA B form – the form that every transplant surgeon must complete for every organ that they transplant.

When an eye is donated, the cornea (the clear outer layer of tissue at the front of the eye) can be transplanted to restore a person's sight. The sclera (the whites of the eye) can also be transplanted.
